What is congestion control and non standard protocols?

What is  congestion control monolithic or structured non-standard protocols

When a link or a node on a network carries data more than its capacity then it is said that there is congestion on the network. It deteriorates the process of transmission. Your network should have some mechanism to control network congestion.

Monolithic or structured is one of the characteristics of a protocol.
Communication is a complex process. It is too complex to be handled by a single module. To process the information easily, structured approach is preferred which breaks down the problem into smaller units If the single module is dealing with the big problem then we will say that the protocol which is being used is the monolithic protocol, on the other hand, if we divide the big task into smaller units and we have different separate modules to deal the units of a big task then we will say that the protocol which is being used is the Structured protocol.

The protocol which is designed for some specific communication tasks or for some specific set of devices is called as a Non Standard Protocol. If you are using this protocol then you will just only be able to communicate within that specific range for which this protocol has been designed.
