I’m so excited. Fanny is in the finals! There are two people in the Rachael Ray’s American Cookbook Competition and one of them is our 28 year old daughter Fanny Slater, who lives in Wilmington, N.C. The other woman named Lauren Kudlawiec from Johnston, Pennsylvania. We wish Lauren well in the finals.

In this week’s competition Fanny made her crab cake sliders that she has elevated to an art form. She did a spectacular job presenting it to Lori Greiner from Shark Tank and QVC. She topped those sliders with a tomato aoili and arugula. Monday May 19th is the finals. You do not want to miss it. I know that no matter what happens, she will have had the ride of her life.So proud.
