Globe, Smart, Sun and Other Networks Standard Prepaid Rates

Globe, Smart, Sun and other networks like TM-Touch Mobile, Cherry Prepaid and ABS-CBN Mobile applies standard rates for their text, call and surf services. Standard prepaid rates give information on how much regular load is spent for SMS/MMS per characters or message, calls per minute and internet surfing regular rate. Knowing these rates and checking balance regularly will help subscribers to monitor their expenses.

Update 2018: Good news! All networks' regular prepaid loads, regardless of amount, will have 1 year validity. DICT OIC Eliseo Rio said that, "the one-year expiry date is very safe for consumers because that one year assures that they will be able to use the load". Furthermore call and text rate deduction will be implemented soon, as NTC slashes interconnection rates of telcos. Based on NTC Memorandum Circular No. 05-07-2018, the current P2.50 per minute interconnection charge for calls will be reduced to 50 centavos per minute, while the current interconnection charge of 15 centavos per text will be reduced to 5 centavos.
