On the Scientific Misconduct Blog, Dr Aubrey Blumsohn revisited one of the classic cases of research suppression from the 1990s, the attempted suppression of the study by Dr Betty Dong showing that a brand-name version of L-thyroxine was not superior to a generic version, also known as "thyroid storm."
