{photo}Today I had the opportunity to see the Thorne Miniature Rooms at the Phoenix Art Museum. All I can say is WOW. These mini rooms are amazing. They feature mini replicas of historic American, English, French and Italian interiors.
{photo}Every room is perfectly to scale at 1 inch equals a foot. Every detail is to scale. The most amazing part to me was the lighting. Each room is lit by "natural" light that appears to be coming from outside the little doors and windows.
